Welcome back Lily!
And Welcome to the JN Family Brianna!
Our group discussion was about corn on the cob today!
We discussed what we had talked about on Monday with the sensory table corn
The children came up with a few ideas on what corn on the cob is like;
It is slippery, really cold and soft.
You can eat it at Grandma's house :)
It grows TALL and has silk.
It grows on a stalk, and you can feed it to deer, fish, squirrels and even dinosaurs!
It can be cooked, and it can get slimy
Shucking corn is GREAT for the fine motor skills!
While painting with it we learned that it can be rolled, and is slimy.
And Ari exclaimed that he was "going crazy with it!"
Corn exploration is so FUN!!
