Indoor snow and play dough skeletons
Since it has been too cold and windy to get outside, I decided to bring some of the snow inside!
This week we have been talking about our bodies. We used play dough, q-tips, and outlet covers to create skeletons.

Heart demonstration
The heart is a very strong muscle. It works so hard to pump blood through the body. I drilled a hole in a tennis ball and let the class take turns squeezing water out of it as a demonstration of how the heart works.
Maybe Ian and Walter can work together to make the water squirt out!
Archer used his muscles to squeeze the water out!

Valentines Party Pics
Our Valentines Party last Friday was tons of fun! We enjoyed some delicious treats and the class got to pass out valentines to everyone!
Thank you parents for bringing in Valentines, you made everyone feel so special.

Dace class, Candy heart experiment, Valentine Goo
The boys told me they were having dance class!
On Monday we tested what would happen if we put candy hearts in water, honey, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, the microwave, and the freezer.
Hmmm....what's happening?
Walter is feeling how warm the candy was after microwaving it.
On Wednesday we played with Valentine Goo! It felt amazing!

Indoor Fun
These boys were measuring how far the could launch the cars from the mountain. A few of them traveled over 50 inches!
