We love our tree!

Merry Christmas!

We officially have a Christmas tree in the 3's room.  The friends have enjoyed decorating and redecorating our little tree!  :)

Lila, Max and Ben are carefully adding ornaments.  :)

Maisie is putting a shiny purple ornament on the tree!

Max likes the candy cane.  :)

It's looking beautiful!

CJ is watching to see where Marina and Lillie are going to put their ornaments.

The friends enjoy playing with the tree every day!!

December Centers

We have been very busy this week with our centers!

Here, we are painting with red and green for some fun, Christmas art!

Nolan, Ty, Lila, and Lille and working with magna-doodles.

Tatum, CJ, and Lucas are sorting bingo chips and making patterns.

Here, we are tracing over letter cards with crayons!

This is our pom pom Christmas tree counting activity. Each Christmas tree has a star on top with a number which tells you how many pom pom "ornaments" the tree needs.

Here are some pictures of our playdough letters center.  The goal is to make a letter out of playdough. :)

apple pies :)

 

mmmmmm.....  its apple pie time! Last week, we made individual apple pies. It was so fun! 

Here is the simple recipe:
Peel and cut up a small apple into bite sized pieces and place inside a mini pie crust. Add a squirt of lemon juice (to prevent browning) and a couple shakes of cinnamon sugar and enjoy!

 We got lots of practice with the plastic knives.
