We have had a great week talking about our new bread study. The children knew that "bread is to eat" and they are excited to learn that there are SO many types of breads.
We talked about what you can do with bread, and what happens to bread when you put it in the toaster.

Abe and Frankie said they use bread to make a sandwich!
Kate and Quinn said they have yellow bread to make toast!
I asked the children what they liked to put on their bread and this is what they came up with:
Frankie: Apple Jelly
Zander: Jellyfish
Graham: Butter
Lucy: Pancakes
Drew: Butter
Harrison: Cream
Lily: Avocado
Abe: Blueberry Cream
Brianna: Peanut butter, straberries and grapes
Kate: Peanut Butter
Isaac: Bananas
Quinn: Butter and Strawberry Jelly
Ari: Sharks
I introduced the children to Chef Combo!
When he comes to visit, that means it's baking day!!

While we waited for our bread to bake we had a birthday treat from Drew!
Our bread was so yummy!
Kate, Abe Drew, and Lily loved it!
Ari, Brianna and Zander were not so sure about it...
All in all it was a tasty day!!
