The Earth: land and waters, bagel painting, scissor cutting

 Today we talked about the Earth.  We used half bagels (that were not edible anyway) and painted the Earth!  We also watched a video clip of our Earth and talked about how the green is the land and the blue is the waters.  Then we used scissors to cut our maps and noticed that our city map has blue waters and green lands as well!

Musicals & dropper note paintings

 

Today we had fun with music notes!

we used droppers to make them colorful :)

We also watched some music clips from Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music!

They love dancing!

We have had a fun filled week!

Today we did some Irish  dances

We talked about the Ukulele

And Izzy who is from Hawaii, plays the Ukele and

sings Somewhere Over the Rainbow!

We have been practicing patience and following directions.

Projects like this rainbow project are fun and pretty easy to follow the directions

So we had some leftover bagels that we were not able to re-serve.

We decided that since they looked like rainbows, we would paint rainbows with them!

Do not worry... I told all the kiddos that we do not usually waste food or play with our food unless a teacher or parent says we may :)

They were all shocked at the outcome!

We had a lovely day outside as well!
