Flower exploration

The month of May has included fresh cut flowers, potting soil, and seeds in the the 3's class.

Some of the bulbs in our garden sensory table have even started sprouting!

We learned about the different parts of a flower and then had some fun cutting them.

I also brought in a few different kinds of seeds for everyone to check out.

This doesn't have anything to do with flowers, but one day before breakfast everyone decided to make castles and pyramids with the red cups. The friends worked very well together to accomplish their goals!  :)

A garden?... An animal hospital?.... In our room?

That's right!  The threes room has been very imaginative the past several days. Take a look at our garden....

Our Sensory table has potting soil, artificial flowers, small flower pots, gardening tools and gardening gloves. The 3's have really enjoyed taking care of their garden.!  :)

Help! Help!   My pet is sick!    The 3's decided they need to help their poor sick and hurt animals.  The tables turned into the animal hospital.....

 
Here is our recovery area for the animals to rest until they feel better!

The new easle is here!

Nolan, Maisie and Lila really like playing the lotto game with Miss Angela. The objective is to feel around inside the bag and see if you can pull out an object that is on your board....no peeking!

Max and Lucas built a train and tracks out of legos!

Sammy really wanted her picture taken in this dress.  :)

I think Derek, Nolan and Maisie were figuring out something with our Calendar.

Marina loves the new writing supply pouches!

Everyone loved playing in the Easter grass!

Nolan said he was sheering a sheep!  Too cute!

The first day \with the easel was a success!  Everyone took turns and created their own work of art!  Easel painting is offered every day so be sure to check white cubbies for artwork!  :)
